Amy + Michael = Together Forever

A very special couple tied the knot in early October, and I was honored to be part of their day!  Amy and I have known each other for a long time through teaching, and I was so happy when she asked me to be her photographer.  I just loved all the details from the day -- from the stained glass in the church, to the etched metal guest book, to the purple bling on the cake.  It was all very elegant, just like the newlyweds.

Capturing a few moments with the guys and girls before the ceremony...

I just love the way Michael is watching her approach with her dad.

Their reflection on the floor caught my eye as I stepped to the back of the aisle.

The guys and gals in the wedding party were so much fun... and patient with me in the cold.  It looks like a pretty nice day, but it was very chilly!  The Wisconsin State Capitol makes a gorgeous backdrop, doesn't it?!!?

Guests signed in using this metal etching pen.  It was awesome! Monona Terrace is a beautiful setting for a wedding reception.  The table settings and details were so pretty.

Time for the toasts, and then hit the dance floor!

I learned that night that Amy's dad loves "the twist"!

Congratulations, you two!  Thank you so much for the opportunity to learn and grow in my photography.  It means so much that you trusted me to get the photos you wanted of your special day. I had a wonderful time being part of it. I wish you many years of happiness!
