Senior Style ~ Jack

It's been a while since I've posted a senior session.  Meet Jack.  He's a senior at Milton High School, who enjoys show choir, theater, and cross country.  Our session was in October, and we had a great time trying some new things on the stage together!

Later, we went the the beautiful campus of the former Milton College.  I just love the old bricks and windows there, as well as the fire escape.

I hope you've been having a great senior year, Jack!

If you need a senior session next summer or fall, please contact me to schedule!

Sweet Bryn!  We had a wonderful fall family session at Lake Kegonsa State Park!  I had never been to the park until I worked with this family 3 years ago, and it was great to go back, this time for fall color and light.

Bryn and her brother Callan are so sweet together!

Thank you for choosing me to be your family photographer, Marit and Nik!  It's always such a pleasure.  Your family is beautiful!

Senior Style ~ Ben

I  can't believe my son is graduating this year!  Meet Ben, a football player, honor student, European traveller, and all-around great kid!  He plans to go to Carroll University next fall to study exercise science, and hopes to continue on to Physical Therapy school.  Dream big, kid!  You can do whatever you set your mind to!

We had fun at the football practice field, and on the steps of a former high school in town.

On another day, we headed to a park with some great bridges.  These are some of my favorites from our time together.

A couple of shots downtown in a shirt and tie were a must, as well.  Isn't he so handsome!  I love his smile and those blue eyes.  ðŸ’™

It has been a fun summer of senior sessions with so many of Ben's friends.  If you need a senior session next summer, please contact me!

Little Ones ~ Ella

Meet Ella, a little cutie I played with a few months ago for her 2 year old photos. It was another opportunity to take my backdrops and set them up in a client's home for this photo shoot.  I recently purchased some vinyl backdrops to use indoors, in a well lit room, and it feels like I have that studio look!  I have only had a few sessions to use them, and I've been very  happy with the outcome each time.  I have the blue brick, yellow chevron, and bright dots shown here, plus the white barn wood, shown here as a floor drop, but I've used it as a back drop, too, with a few other sessions.  It doesn't feel like we're in a kitchen, does it?  I hope to add to my collection here and there, and have opportunities to use them when the weather doesn't cooperate, or through the winter.

Ella has the prettiest eyes, and a spunky personality, and she kept me on my toes with trying to keep her attention :) . Good thing I have an early childhood degree (haha!)!  I enjoyed her very much, and I hope to see her for another session sometime!  Have a great summer, Ella!

We had time for some family shots, too.  Thanks, Sarah and Jon, for allowing me to work with your family.  I enjoyed your little girl very much!

At this time, I am booked all summer with seniors.  Family, child, and baby sessions will resume in October!  Keep watching the blog for more fun session photos.

Senior Style ~ Josh

With senior season starting soon, I realized I never posted anything from my fun football session with Josh!  Josh contacted me because he had seen some other football photos I had done for a teammate.  He is on my son's football team, so I sort of knew who he was and had been seeing him at the games.  We met one Saturday morning after a game, and had a great time on the field and at an old local building.  He did great!

Josh's brother came along and seemed to have a great time, also.  I love this shot of the two of them, and I know their mom does, too!

After being at the games every week, I was sure to watch for the big plays Josh might make (he was wide reciever), hoping to put together a little poster for him.  I had fun making this poster, and was happy with how this turned out!

Josh had a special request to do a "double exposure" shot of him in his letter jacket, too.  That's what I love about senior sessions... they know what to ask for, and push me to try new things.

Thanks, Josh, for hanging out with me that fall day.  I hope your senior year has been amazing, and I wish you all the best after you graduate.  I am now booking for summer senior sessions for the Class of 2016! Please email me by clicking the flag at the top of the page, or message me on my Facebook page.

We'll plan a fun and unique session for you!
