Family ~ Feggestad-Coomer

This winter I had the wonderful opportunity to work with this fun family.  I had a really great time catching up with them. Two of these kids are former students of mine ~
smile emoticon ~ not sayin' how long ago!

We spent time at the Lincoln-Tallman House, at the main house and the archive building.  Such handsome guys and gorgeous girls!

After the session, I worked closely with Darci to get the holiday cards she wanted just right!  I was able to design a handful of options for her.  Keep this in mind if you need stationery of any sort, for holidays, graduation announcements, or party invitations.  I'm happy to help you get the most out of your session and find products you love.

Thanks again, Darci, for the opportunity to work with your family.  It was a great experience!

Senior Style ~ Brianna

It has been awhile since I've posted a session, so here's a fun one I want to share!  I did a fair amount of seniors last summer and fall (9), and some attended the school where I teach.  But THIS senior, well, she not only attended my school, but I taught for years with her amazing mom and we had playgroups together!  I've known Brianna since she was two, and here she is, all grown up and so gorgeous!  It was fun to hang out with her again and learn what she's been up to!  She is a super busy senior, involved in Show Choir, basketball, cheerleading, track, and lots more.  We had two sessions to try to reflect her many activities and her fun sense of style.

Enjoy this bit of warmth on these cold winter days.

This white dress and meadow of wildflowers was perfect for lighting of the setting sun.  I can't wait for spring and summer to use this setting again.  Don't you just love her cute boots and stylish look?

Our second session started in the bleachers with her cheer uniform and letter jacket.  I love the pop of red.  I told you she was busy - check out those jerseys below!

To end the evening, we went to the river.  The aqua color and the long flow of her dress made a perfect match for the willow trees.  It was so fun to get a little wet to get some amazing shots of this beautiful and special girl.

I look forward to following more of your adventures, Brianna.  I know you'll go far.

Senior sessions for this spring and summer are coming up fast.  If you want to book an outdoor session (or two) with me, just let me know!  My email is at the top of the blog, or you can message me through the link to Facebook.

Family ~ Anderson

Twins!  It was my third session with this special family, and I had a blast with these twins again.  They were much more mobile this time around, though, so chasing them around (and getting them to chase me) added to the fun.  And the gorgeous fall color wasn't bad, either!  We did a few with the whole family, a few with the twins together, and a few of them alone to capture their fun personalities.

I love watching these two grow up.  I work with their mom, and get to hear all kinds of fun stories about the fun they have together.  I look forward to more special times with you all!

I am happy to do outdoor winter sessions with anyone interested!  The Janesville School Outdoor Lab (JSOL), the Lincoln-Tallman House, or Riverside Park make great winter backdrops.  Message me above, or at my Facebook page for more information.  Stay warm!

Family ~ Pusateri

Remember these handsome guys from last year? I had fun working with their whole family last month, after our first snowfall of the season.  Even with the snow, it wasn't as cold as last year. Thanks, everyone, for the great session. It's always fun to see you!

Before I finish this post, I must thank the guys for their help when my car was stuck in the snow.  We ventured up a winding hill in the park, which is normally closed in the winter but it was still early.  It was slick, and the road dips down into a slight ditch.  Yup, I slipped in and was struggling to get out.   I was lucky to have them there to help.  And these soon-to-be-driving teens got a lesson out of it, as well (hahaha!!!)  Thanks a TON!
