Senior Style ~ Bryce

I recently had the special treat of working with this young man for his senior portraits.  Bryce was a natural, and followed me around downtown Janesville to find some cool spots without complaint!   Thank goodness we waited out the rain, because we had such a good time.  We have another session soon, so be watching for more.

My senior sessions this summer are booked, but if you still need a session in September, I do have limited availability before the schools need your yearbook photo.  Just send me a message!

Family ~ Legan

It was such a great opportunity to work with this extended family!  I've never worked with a group this size before, and I was a little bit nervous, especially knowing there would be six children all under five years old! But the kids did a wonderful job staying in a good mood!  Smiles from the little ones were a bit hard to come by at times, but I think the overall family photos turned out pretty nice.   Beckman Mill in Beloit, Wisconsin, was a beautiful setting, on a gorgeous sunny morning.  Doesn't everyone look great in their shades and patterns of blue and white?

After the extended family shots, we had requests for individual families to be photographed.  Once again, the mill offered a wonderful variety of places to pose.  The waterfall was so sparkly, that bridge has great lines, and the historic buildings have so much character. 

 

 I hope I have the opportunity to do some photos at this location again sometime.  I also very much appreciate Alie giving me a call to set this up, and organizing the large group to get together that day.  I learned so much from the experience, and I thank you for that very much!

Father's Day Mini Session - Siegel Family

Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out at the farm with this sweet family for a Father's Day mini-session.  The kids went straight to the chicken coop to check it out, but then got right to work for me.  After all the posing, they were able to have some fun on the swing set.  It was a lot of fun! The kids have such great personalities, as you can see in those precious smiles.  Thanks so much for asking me to work with you, Andrea and Shane!

Senior Style ~ Maggie

Maggie and I had plans to do senior photos this summer, and with prom coming up, we decided to do an extra session on that day when her hair, makeup, and dress were perfect.  She looked just like a princess, and I adore her sweet smile.  I thought my first senior session of the  year was a success!  Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to keep learning.  I loved working with you!

The wind was a nuisance at times, but it did give us this cool shot!  The sun was coming and going, too, so we played around with different spots in the park with different lighting options.

Every girl needs a little sparkle ...

I am looking forward to our next time we get together, Maggie!  You are a dream to work with!  I know we'll have fun trying some new things together, and I'll learn a lot in the process.

Little Ones ~ Zane

I just love when family members ask if we can do photos together.  And I love it even more when the family has a little one!

This little guy is my husband's cousin's baby.  We tried a couple of other times to get together, but the weather that week was not very cooperative.  This day was just right!  And Zane was in a terrific mood, too.  His mom made the cute crate, which was perfect for posing in the park.

Zane is celebrating his half-birthday, and was doing such a great job sitting up on his own!

I had some great helpers, too.  Zane has three awesome big sisters, and they helped spread the blankets, fluff the beanbag chair, and hold the banners behind him for me.  Thanks, ladies!  Zane is lucky to be your little brother.

Now that the weather is so nice, I'm looking forward to more family and baby sessions.  I also have some senior sessions lined up, which I am excited about!!!  Please keep me in mind if you need some photos at the park, or downtown, or at my friend's adorable farm.  We can find a location to suit you and your needs.
